2nd & 3rd Grades
DAILY CONSEQUENCES
• 1st check – Teacher consequence
• 2nd check – Teacher consequence and parent conference (by phone or in person)
• 3rd check – Send to office and parent conference
• 4th check – Office referral
The following criteria will be used to determine eligibility for participation in our
reward activities/trips:
• 3 checks will result in the loss of attending the three week reward activity
(This activity is a 30 min. activity determined by the grade level.)
• 6 checks will result in the loss of attending the six week reward activity
(This is a school wide reward activity.)
• 10 checks will result in the loss of attending the nine week reward activity.
• An office referral will result in the loss of attending any reward activities/trips for 45 school days.
(This is a school wide reward activity. Note: The activity for the end of the second nine weeks and fourth nine weeks will be determined by grade levels, possible field trips, etc. to celebrate the end of each semester.)
*Students who are assigned to detention must have received a minimum of three (3) minor rule misconduct infractions in the same class prior to this consequence being administered. Detention is held from 7:15 AM until 8:00 AM or 3:15 PM-4:00PM. Parents must bring their child to school in time for detention. Failure to attend detention or reporting late to detention will result in an alternative disciplinary consequence. In addition, students who receive six write-ups (from various teachers or the same teacher) will be given an office referral.
